For a short-term rental investor, the best properties start with the things you cannot manufacture: the view, the location, and a guest experience people already love. Scenic Pines has all three. With sweeping views toward Mt. LeConte, approximately 3.6 miles to the Gatlinburg Strip, and nearly $80,000 in reported gross rental revenue in 2025, this 1,746-square-foot cabin already has the foundation of a proven Smoky Mountain destination, with room for the next owner to do even more.
On Airbnb, Scenic Pines is offered as a 3-bedroom, 3-bath cabin sleeping six with three king beds. It is a Guest Favorite with a 4.89 rating from more than 100 reviews, giving investors something far more valuable than potential alone: a guest experience that is already working.
The views are the reason guests remember it. Large windows bring the Smokies into the main living area, while a two-tier deck, hot tub, rocking chairs, outdoor seating, and porch swing turn the mountains into part of the stay from morning coffee through sunset.
Inside, hardwood floors, abundant natural light, an updated kitchen with granite countertops and stainless appliances, and a stone fireplace with electric insert create the modern mountain experience guests expect. Two updated full bathrooms on the main level add comfort and functionality for groups.
Downstairs is its own separate retreat with a king sleeping area, full bath, laundry, built-in coffee bar, mini fridge, second living area, and more mountain views. Keep it as a comfortable second gathering space or transform it into a memorable game and entertainment room that gives future guests another reason to book.
Even the approach adds value. Unlike many mountain-view cabins with steep, intimidating roads, Scenic Pines offers a gentler drive to the property, helping remove a common concern for guests, especially in winter.
Similar nearby cabins with comparable style, views, and location have produced approximately $94,747-$127,353 in gross rental revenue. For the right investor, the opportunity is clear: build on an already successful rental through stronger management, pricing, marketing, and guest-focused amenities.
The views, location, layout, hot tub, three king sleeping spaces, three full baths, and established guest history are already here. The next owner gets to decide what Scenic Pines becomes from here.
